The A1 Project, London / ‘Greening the Grey‘
Whittington Park & Davenant Park/ A new flowering field of colour sweeps down to meet the hard and vibrant edge of Holloway Road, with big floral sequences from late Spring until late Autumn. A visible transformation made with very simple and cost effective materials. Two public parks sit on either side of the A1 arterial road: now more strongly linked and framed by lush vegetation, and with the adjacent high boundary walls painted a carmine red.
