Context: Davenant Park. The rejuvenation of a small pocket park, originally made on a WW2 bomb site, with small scale intervention on a limited budget: new tree planting created structure, and a sense of shelter, in response to the adjacent A1 Holloway Road; combined with new surfaces, play elements, and furniture. Completed in 2004, photographed in autumn 2014. The A1 Project, London/ ‘Greening the Grey’
